SJ Mary's Ball Drop Fundraiser
Winner Receives $5,000

On December 14, 2012, Mary Joy Sherlach, school psychologist at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, gave her life to protect the students she served.  Her family and friends created Mary’s Fund to honor her legacy and continue her important work.

The mission of the fund is to support programs that aid the mental and social wellness of children and adolescents as Mary did in her day-to-day life.  Initially created in Fairfield County, Connecticut, the New Jersey chapter supports mental health charities such as Tri-State K9 Crisis Response Team and Angels Community Outreach, Camden County Youth Partnership as well as provides scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a career in psychology.

We are thrilled to once again be able to offer a chance to win $5,000 in this ball drop!  This event will be a virtual helicopter golf ball drop that will be broadcast on Facebook and seen live at our Mary's Fund reception at Villari's Lakeside on Saturday, September 12 at 9:15pm. The animation will play and the ball that goes in will be awarded the cash prize.
