Not Your Typical Golf Tournament!
A Golf-A-Thon is not your traditional golf tournament. It is similar to other marathon events with one added element: GOLF! There are no foursomes – each golfer is playing for themselves for a good cause! The goal is to play as many holes as possible during the event, whether it’s 40 or 100 holes! Golfers should aim to move quickly and keep golfing until the very end.
Registration Requirements:
By registering as a marathon golfer, you hereby agree to the following participant terms & requirements:
1. Sign-up by October 15th to become an official marathon golfer (no registration fees are required).
2. Find sponsors to support your goal (before November 1st) to raise $1,000 or more in flat fee donations AND/OR a per hole pledge totaling $100 per hole. For example: find 10 friends that can donate $100 each and another 50 friends to pledge $2 per hole you complete.
3. Find a playing partner who can also find sponsors to pledge or donate (same as above) and who will keep you motivated throughout the day.
4. Challenge yourself to play as many holes as you can on November 1st! You will need to be available for all or most of the day to participate.
